Planning and Resources
Designed by teachers, for teachers our simple, engaging, developmental PE planning has been used by infant, junior, primary and special schools for over 5 years. Each year group has a full year of PE planning based on six activities or sports (one per half term) with easy to follow plans provided for every lesson. Our planning is based around the principle of ‘Do, Think, Feel’ allowing staff to easily assess and challenge pupils’ social and psychological competency as well as their physical skillset, this is achieved by offering progressive plans which highlight important teaching points, tactical points and guidance for differentiation along the way.
In addition each activity is supported by a simple to use assessment tracker allowing teachers to assess each pupil along the simple scale of ‘Emerging, Expected, Exceeding’ with the opportunity to add more detail where necessary.
Produced in cooperation with a series of qualified Personal Trainers and Health professionals our fitness resource allows your staff to simply and effectively deliver challenging and engaging circuit based fitness lessons using only the equipment available in most schools. Split into ‘Fun Fitness, Fitness Friends & Personal Best’ categories this resource gives you the opportunity to deliver a 12 week fitness intervention for any age group in school. The flexibility of the resource also allows you to tailor your fitness programme to suit your students and the time you have.
The resource provides over 200 professionally produced activity cards split into weekly lessons with each week including a guide to your work out and up to 6 activities. The cards include photos and detailed descriptions giving you the confidence to support your class and the ability to design your own circuit, or stick to the ones we’ve recommended.
